IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Province of British Columbia now maintains an up-to-date funding source database. The funding sources listed below will not be updated and these pages will soon be removed from this website. Please visit www.ruralbc.gov.bc.ca to view the new listings.

These pages provide information on sources of funding and support for community development in BC. Most of the programs listed are funding-oriented, however, programs that provide other forms of support and assistance are also included. The primary focus is support for social, economic, and environmental community development initiatives in rural areas, however the programs are not necessarily exclusive to rural. Contact information for each program is provided to facilitate direct access to current and updated program information.

Another source of program information is CivicInfo BC and the Local Government Management Association of BC, which has a grant database on the CivicInfo BC website that lists grants available to BC local governments.
