Training Types & Payments
Community Futures offers a mix of in-person instructor led training and live interactive video conference seminars hosted by Small Business BC and other partner sites. All fee-based seminars must be paid 3 business days in advance unless otherwise stated. Payment for Small Business BC seminars can be made by credit card or PayPal during the sign-up process. For other payment arrangements please call (250)364-2595 ext.24.
While it is understood that small business owners have very busy schedules, it is very difficult to provide training for small class sizes. In the event that you are unable to attend a session you have registered for you are asked to please call our office at (250)364-2595 ext.24 as soon as possible to opt out of the session. In the event Small Business BC cancels a seminar, the full seminar cost will be refunded. Registrant cancellations must be received 3 business days before the seminar begins and are subject to a 20% administration fee.

Interactive Training Sessions
Small Business BC (SBBC) offers a large number of business oriented training sessions every month. Attendees participate in person, through webinars, and via interactive video conference systems at participating locations such as Community Futures.
Community Futures of Greater Trail registers for interactive seminars that have proven to be beneficial for our clients in the past. When our office has registered for an interactive training sessions it will appear below in the SBBC training feed. To register for any of the offerings just click on the seminar title. SBBC Training Feed
The Canada Revenue Agency frequently offers free Small Business Information Web Seminars and various in-person workshops. These sessions are an excellent opportunity for new small businesses to learn about tax matters and their filing requirements.
