Update Session held November 9, 2023
On November 9th, CFGT’s committed team hosted a session to update our Economic Resilience Action Plan (ERAP) in the second-floor boardroom.
Since March 2020, we’ve been developing a comprehensive blueprint for the South Kootenay/Greater Trail region. To ensure that businesses can recover effectively from crises and disasters, so that they can continue to operate and support our local community.
In times of crisis, the importance of preparedness cannot be overstated.
A heartfelt shoutout to all local government representatives, emergency management experts, and community stakeholders who generously contributed their time to update the plan and enhance the resilience of our region.
Special thanks to the RDKB Emergency Management team representatives, Mark Stephens and Carlene Pires, and to Chris Marsh from Clear Sky Consulting for sharing their invaluable expertise with informative presentations. We’re truly fortunate to have such dedicated, community-minded individuals leading the way.
